About

I'm Stephy — a senior motion designer based in Singapore.

Over twelve years, I've worked across government and international agencies, consumer brands, tech companies, and creative production houses — mostly on campaign content, product launches, and the motion work that sits between a strategy deck and a live audience.

Past clients include the Discovery Channel, GOVT, Whitecoat Production and  Hogarth, among others. Most of my work comes through referrals, which I think reflects something beyond the quality of the output — it reflects how the process felt for the people I work with. Over the years that's included creatives, producers, and clients across different time zones, cultures, and working styles. I've found the collaboration tends to work well regardless of where people are based.

Here's what I've noticed over those twelve years: the craft has to be right — that's non-negotiable. But the craft alone is rarely what makes a project go well or badly. That usually comes down to what happens between people — a brief that was never quite resolved, a stakeholder who couldn't say what they actually needed, a revision round that was really about something else entirely.

That's where my psychotherapy training comes in. Four years of learning to listen differently — not just to what someone says they want, but to what the brief is actually asking for. It's made me better at the early conversations, better at reading a room when feedback gets complicated, and better at keeping a production moving cleanly when the pressure builds.

I work best with producers, project managers, and marketing leads who value the process as much as the output. If that sounds like you, I'd love to hear about your project.
