In the residential area of Tiong Bahru, individual letterboxes hang on the whitewashed HDB walls of each unit. It sets them apart from the other heartland areas in Singapore. The mismatched quality of the letterboxes inspired my friend and I to create a product that would add to the collections of unique letterboxes.

 

160071 is the postal code of where we discovered the most number of letterboxes that inspired us to the product. It is a hand crafted storage box, created from a collection of pre-loved items. You can see the love marks and character of 160071 evidently. Hang it near your doorstep and you will never forget your everyday items like keys, earpiece, cardholder ever again.
